Abstract: |
A number of archaeological features were transected by the route, these comprised a number if field boundaries, a trackway, a possible small barrow or bell-pit and remnants of a stone surface. Within the limit of the access road a number of previously unrecorded archaeological features were identified. These comprised a curcular structure which may have been a sheep pen, a clearance caurn and the remains of a possible burial cist. No artefacts were recovered during the course of archaeological monitoring. [Au(abr)] |
