Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a residential development. Evidence of Neolithic to Roman activity and medieval remains had been recorded in the surrounding area. During the evaluation, three undated post holes and two probable post-medieval drainage gullies were revealed. Prehistoric struck flints, Iron Age or Roman pottery and post-medieval pottery and tile were recovered. It was concluded that only a low level of archaeological activity had occurred at the site.
