Abstract:		 A desk-based assessment was undertaken on the proposed reinforcement main route. The assessment identified that the route had high potential for archaeology. Prehistoric finds had been recovered along the route and would have impacted upon a known Roman occupation site. The route would also have run close to the Scheduled Horsery Hill Civil War Fort and a potential for associated finds and features was identified. [Au(abr)]
