Abstract: |
A desk-based study to assess the archaeological implications of a proposed housing development at The Wylands identified 38 archaeological sites and findspots within a 2km square study area around the site. Archaeological periods represented ranged from the Palaeolithic to the 20th century, with a substantial proportion being of Palaeolithic date. No finds however were known from the site itself.
