Abstract: |
An assessment of the archaeological and cartographic evidence suggested that the site did not lie in an area of archaeological potential. Few sites were recorded for the area in the SMR, and cartographic evidence showed that no development occurred until the mid-19th century. Substantial truncation would have occurred on the site upon construction of the covered reservoir (>95%), therefore the site was considered to have no archaeological potential. [Au(abr)] |
