Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site within an Archaeological Priority Zone. Evidence of iron age occupation, Roman post holes and pottery had been excavated 300m from the site. During the evaluation, no significant archaeological deposits or features were observed. Post-medieval pottery, clay pipe fragments and a sherd of Roman pottery were recovered. It was concluded that no further work would be necessary. [Au(adp)] |
