Abstract: |
Evaluation of two areas proposed for housing development, on land immediately to the south and north of a complex of three Bronze Age ditches surviving as earthworks, and visible on aerial photographs in part of the intervening area, was undertaken. Traces of the ditches were identified in unterraced and undisturbed areas of the site, although elsewhere the ditches seemed to have been either heavily disturbed or completely removed by modern terracing and service trenching.
