Abstract:
The upgrading of parking aprons and the laying of a drainage system at RAF Mildenhall involved considerable ground disturbance both within and beyond the perimeter fence. A monitoring programme observed two undatable ditches and areas where the soil profile was intact and an early buried top-soil survived. Finds of a range of periods were also recovered. [AIP]
