Abstract: |
<summary>An evaluation of land proposed for commercial and retail development at Hankridge Farm revealed evidence of occupation during the Medieval period to the south and south-east of the present farm ({italon}circa{italoff} 12th century). Features found included a series of ditches and gullies, possibly relating to buildings, as well as broad shallow depressions, interpreted as trackways. Further to the south-east, a single sherd of Iron Age pottery was found in association with several shallow ephemeral features. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
