Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in advance of the residential redevelopment of the site. Three 7m by 2m trenches were dug. All three showed natural layers overlain by 19th and 20th century deposits. The third trench to the south of the site, nearest to St. Edmunds Terrace, contained fragments of burnt flint, but no prehistoric features were found. [Au(abr)] |
