Abstract: |
The abandoned farmstead of Little or Lower Southcott was the only site of archaeological significance exposed along the pipeline route. Tax assessments indicate that the farm existed in 1780. It was still being used in 1851. 45 sherds of pottery were also recovered from the vicinity of the farmstead.[Au(abr)] |
