Abstract: |
Parallel linear anomalies in the centre of the site were thought to be caused by infilled ditches that may also be associated with early occupation of the site. Other areas of magnetic enhancement could also have had an archaeological origin although modern activity could also have explained the anomalous responses. The proposed location of the stable block centred on an area of magnetic disturbance and was therefore likely to have had a minimal archaeological impact. [Au(abr)] |
