Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the construction of an extension. Prehistoric finds had been recorded throughout the London Borough of Bexley, although finds in Bexleyheath had been sparse. The route of Roman Watling Street may have passed near the site. During the watching brief, remains were found which probably related to a former extension which had occupied the site until relatively recently. No finds other than 19th or 20th century pottery were recovered. [Au(abr)] |
