Abstract: |
A watching brief and subsequent excavations carried out on the site revealed traces of a Late Iron Age settlement in the form of ditches and a hearth feature, and evidence of possible industrial activity on the site. A packed gravel surface next to the A421, which followed the line of a Roman road was also investigated. [Au] |
