Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained during the removal of wall plaster within Coverham Abbey House. Recording comprised measured survey and rectified photography. The results of the survey indicated the presence of structural elements of medieval date, a major remodelling during the 17th century and the replacment of a postulated winder stair during the 19th century.
