Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during housing development on land to the east of Main Street, North Muskham. It revealed a number of linear features, interpreted as ditches, that yielded pottery probably dating to the early medieval period. The ditches also contained some small quantities of slag, hammer-scale and charcoal, suggesting possible industrial activity. [Au] |
