Abstract: |
A desk-based study of the six route options for the improvement of the A38 between Saltash and Trerulefoot was undertaken. The study identified that the known archaeological sites lying on the line of each route comprised a cropmark of unknown date at Treduan Wood, settlements of medieval origin at Talvans and Penquite, post-medieval quarries and a silver lead mine.
