Abstract: |
Nothing of archaeological significance was recorded in the church itself during the watching brief. The trench leading west from the church revealed a number of features of note. The original western boundary of the churchyard was located, being a substantial ditch with internal bank. Within the line of the bank there was a high concentration of burials reflecting the long period of use of the graveyard.[Au] |
