This report presents the findings of phase 1 of an archaeological evaluation at 135 Park Street/4-8 Emerson Street, Southwark. No archaeological features were recorded during the evaluation. A peat deposit recorded in trench 1 was radiocarbon dated to the late Bronze Age and appeared to have been truncated by a later fluvial feature, possibly dating to the post-medieval period. [Au] |
