Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was carried out on the proposed development site. There was no recorded evidence of archaeology, although it was close to extensive Romano-British activity, adjacent to Ermine Street. Fields adjacent to the site were idenitifiefd as having medieval agricultural activity and post-medieval quarrying which had continued into the site. [Au(abr)] |
