Abstract:
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during geotechnical test pits and groundworks for a new refectory at Elmore Abbey. Three drainage features associated with the extant Elmore House were identified. Two of these features comprised post-medieval brick structure (a soakaway and a culvert) while the third feature consisted of an undated chalk rubble soakaway. [Au(abr)]
