Abstract: |
The eastern side of the proposed site may have contained buried structural remains of the 20th century boat building yard. The area west of New Road was developed in the 19th century with the construction of Ford Cottage, and other buildings. Further and more recent development has undoubtedly removed any earlier archaeological remains. [Au(abr)] |
