Abstract: |
<summary>An archaeological watching brief was conducted during the course of renovation work at Old Lodge Peel. Only limited works took place on both the ground and the first floors. Extensive plaster-stripping was undertaken in the attic and stair tower and this revealed evidence for a number of late medieval windows, fireplaces and doorways related to the second floor, and of an earlier roof associated with the crenellated parapet. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
