Abstract: |
Medieval and post-medieval occupation was revealed by an evaluation in advance of road construction. Trenches were dug across a known enclosure to reveal evidence of occupation from the 12th century through to the 18th century. Ditches, a rubbish pit and large amounts of tile suggested nearby buildings, although actual structural features were not located. [AIP] |
