Abstract: |
The main works in the Bratton Fleming Mill site were not observed, but additional works revealed part of the leat bank, and a linear feature which could possibly have been related to the function of the leat. On the Tucking Mill site further work identified that the ruined building did not represent the remains of the mill itself. The site of the mill building was uncertain. A water channel forming part of a water meadow system, was identified as a possible main water supply (leat) for the mill. The function of the small stone lined channel was uncertain. [Au(abr)] |
