Abstract: |
Following a significant Bronze Age discovery by a metal detectorist during Phase 2 infrastructure works at Monkston Park, a watching brief was undertaken on topsoil stripping to determine the presence or absence of related features, or evidence of activity of any other period. A metal detector survey of topsoil heaps created during infrastructure works on Phases 1 and 2 revealed the possibility of Roman activity in the immediate area. [Au] |
