Abstract: |
The assessment established that a possible alignment of the Roman Road (SAM 88) linking Sea Mills and Bath passed through the garden of the Queen Victoria House. Within the garden there were various undulations which were difficult to ascertain which were from landscaping and the natural ground surface. Slightly to the south-west of the projected line one such undulation may have been the agger of the Roman road. [Au(abr)] |
