Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was undertaken on the proposed development site. Cranbrook Drain was identified as being part of a Roman drainage system. The potential for a Roman/Iron Age settlement on the gravel terraces to the west of the drain, was identified. The potential for Neolithic and Mesolithic sites beneath deep alluvial deposits was also identified. [Au(abr)] |
