Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring and excavation was undertaken at the site during topsoil stripping phases 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3. In phase 2.1 three Middle Bronze Age pits, containing a large assemblage of pottery, were identified. A ditched trackway of Middle Iron Age or Roman date and post-medieval field ditches were also identified. No significant features were identified in the other two areas. [Au(adp)] |
