Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out in relation to the excavations of the foundations of a detached garage. The proposed garage building was located within a moated site which was a Scheduled Ancient Monument and recognised as an area of natural and regional importance. No significant archaeological features were uncovered during the watching brief although a cobbled surface (of probable post-medieval) date was revealed. [Au] |
