Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a housing block. Several finds had been recorded in the surrounding area, including prehistoric material and two Roman coin hoards. A post-medieval windmill was situated 250m to the west of the site. One trench was excavated, but no remains dating from before the 19th century were encountered. It was concluded that no further work would be necessary.[AIP] |
