Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was carried out on the proposed development area. No Roman or prehistoric archaeology is expected on the site. The site is situated outside the Saxon town defences but within the medieval town defences and a small amount of occupation is expected on the site for this period. Cartographic evidence points to the site being in occupation since the 17th century. [Au(abr)] |
