Abstract: |
Archaeological recording was carried out after the stripping of recent insertions and additions at the Old Gilesgate Station. The greater part of the building remained largely intact, despite the removal of internal walls and the infilling of openings in the north-west range, which housed the booking office and waiting rooms. Other smaller-scale interventions were also recorded. A comprehensive photographic survey was carried out. [Au(abr)] |
