Abstract:		 An excavation was carried out at a site where a medieval pottery kiln had been excavated in the 1960s. A 1995 evaluation had revealed post-medieval gravel extraction pits. During the excavation, four 14th century Surrey Whiteware kilns were recorded. Stoking pits and waster pits, with many intact vessels, were also found. Residual prehistoric flints, a Roman pit and post-medieval features, including post holes, a ditch and a pond, were revealed. [Au(adp)]
