Abstract: |
Two trenches were excavated and a soakaway, a capped well, a modern service trench and small spread of broken tiles and flinty gravel were revealed. No dating was obtained but the character and location of the various features suggested a relatively modern date for all but the tile spread. It was unlikely that large quantities of significant archaeological remains were present on the site. [Au(abr)] |
