Abstract: |
The report detailed the results of two archaeological evaluations and the excavation that followed the second phase of evaluation. The first phase of evaluation revealed truncated natural deposits and relatively modern garden features of limited archaeological significance. The second phase of evaluation however, produced Bronze Age pottery in stratified deposits from archaeological features in one of the trenches. This trench was enlarged and excavated producing several archaeological features dating from the Late Bronze Age or early Iron Age. [Au] |
