Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	The watching brief was undertaken in connection with groundworks for an extension to the school building. Made ground dated to 1994, a 350mm thick alluvial deposit overlaid natural clays. No artefact retrieved from the alluvium could be dated any earlier than post-medieval. However, no datable finds were observed in the bottom 100mm of this deposit.[Au(abr)]
