Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was undertaken on a proposed redevelopment area. The assessment identified that the site was outside of medieval Newcastle and by the 1830's was an area of gardens. In the late 19th century the site was developed for industrial use and continued in this use into the 20th century. [Au(adp)] |
