Abstract: |
Five 10m by 2m trial trenches were excavated across the site prior to proposed residential development. The investigations demonstrated that no significant archaeological deposits existed across the site. The area was heavily disturbed by recent post-medieval intrusions. Where not disturbed, natural deposits were encountered directly beneath modern overburden. It was recommended that, based on the results of the evaluation, no further archaeological interventions are required at the site. [Au(adp)] |
