Abstract:
On this occasion the archaeological watching brief did not reveal any evidence of great import, other than one previously unrecorded window opening of uncertain date. However, this is an important church of possible early origins (research is continuing as regards and important sepulchral slab, now though to be of pre-conquest date, that has been re-used as a lintal in the tower).
