Abstract: |
Unauthorised works to the scheduled monument at Painswick Beacon Hill Fort (Kimsbury Fort), resulted in an archaeological recording programme to survey the damage caused to the southern and eastern end of the monument. This damage included building up of areas for the extension of golf tees, the creation of new earthworks and the widening of footpaths resulting in the truncation of the hill fort's earthworks.
