Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during ground reduction works in the basement of 173 Bermondsey Street. No natural deposits were observed on the site. Fairly homogenous, probable medieval dumps, were identified across the area watched. These were truncated by chalk and mortar foundations, associated with a late medieval/early post-medieval structure. [Au(abr)] |
