Abstract: |
An evaluation consisting of six trenches was undertaken in advance of a housing development. The work revealed a medieval ditch at the east of the site, closest to the parish church and evidence of Bronze Age activity in the west. This comprised of cut features and finds of pottery and struck and burnt flint. A single coin of Tudor date was also recovered form the topsoil at the east of the site. [AU] |
