Abstract: |
Plans to expand the Sewage Treatment Works at Flag Fen required an archaeological evaluation prior to the beginning of the work. There were two potential archaeological aspects; buried 'dryland' landscape features of prehistoric date and waterlogged Bronze Age timbers associated with the nearby post alignment and platform at Flag Fen. Thirteen test pits were excavated but no traces of timbers or 'dryland' features were found. A watching brief over earthmoving was recommended. [Au(abr)] |
