Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed a Roman rampart associated with the bordering contemporary city wall, Norman ditches and ramparts forming the outer bailey of the bordering Norman Castle and post-medieval pits. Finds mainly included residual Roman and Greek pottery, discarded by the nearby museum. [AIP] |
