Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was carried out during the digging of test-pits to investigate the foundations of Southwick Methodist Church. The church is built on the remains of a Roman villa. The hand-excavation of the pits was supervised and the remains exposed were recorded. Two of the pits revealed Roman walls. A quantity of tile was recovered, but no pottery was found. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
