Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief and trial excavation was carried out on improvements to the circuit. Medieval ridge and furrow were identified along with post-medieval gullies. A single pit and a rubble spread were the only features observed of a possible prehistoric date. Nine concrete blocks, possibly World War II barrage balloon moorings were also uncovered. [Au(abr)] |
