Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on a site which lay close to known archaeological remains. Extensive Romano-British settlement remains had been identified in close proximity to the site. In addition, an earlier evaluation in the grounds and to the rear of Cleeve Hall idnetified both Romano-British and post-medieval remains. The present evaluation identified further evidence of Romano-British, medieval and post-medieval deposits. [Au] |
