Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation, consisting of the excavation of four trial trenches (16m by 6m, 14m by 7m, 19m by 5.5m and 1.8m by 3m), was undertaken across the site in advance of proposed construction of a new Tesco Store. This revealed evidence of palaeo-channel or river and of post-medieval occupationand horticultural activity. [Au(adp)] |
