Abstract:
An earthwork survey was undertaken of the site as part of the Norfolk Earthworks Survey. To the south of the hall, a ha-ha with terraced and raised earthworks indicated a garden layout within an incomplete ditched enclosure. A modern tennis court to the east had truncated these. A broad depression almost joined the bounding ditch, leading from a curving depression that once formed a boundary to a small copse alongside the road. [Au]
